Here is where you will find our special offers, free give-aways and similar – you don’t have to be on one of our courses to be eligible. There is usually quite an eclectic mix coming up so if what is on offer now doesn’t appeal to you, something due soon probably will!

Although we are usually in the process of giving something away, we do so on an irregular calendar, being driven on the ‘when time allows’ basis. Consequently, you may want to visit as often as possible as one offer may be open for a month whilst another may only appear for a week. Please note that you should read the Terms & Conditions paragraph below before submitting your entry.

Our most recent give-away comprised 6 of the Little Books from those shown below. These are basically mini-dictionaries corresponding to their titles, fit into almost any pocket quite comfortably and provide a useful or interesting diversion of a short period for both those learning English and native-speakers alike. We had 5 such sets available and the closing date for application was Wednesday 27th May. The five people drawn from those who emailed in will be sent their sets shortly. To participate, they only needed to click here to email us (the required Give-Away Code PNHWLL then appeared automatically in the title of their emails), each person then needed just to include their name and postal address within that email.

Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise stated in the description, the same process applies to all of our give-aways; those wishing to participate are simply required to email us with their name and a UK delivery address, noting as the subject ‘Give-Away Code’ followed by the code noted on the specific offer (there will usually be an email link that will insert the subject automatically). Only one entry is allowable per email address. Participants are not required to be on a Language Link Up course, either now or in the future, and nor do they need to have been on one in the past. Shortly after the corresponding closing date, ‘winner/s’ will be drawn randomly from the emails sent and the items despatched to the addresses indicated. The initials and location of those in receipt of give-aways may thereafter be displayed on our website e.g. ‘N. H., Windsor’.  These give-aways come with ‘no strings attached’ and, as such, we regret that we are unable to enter into any discussion as to the ‘winners’ and our decision is final. Currently, with the exception of those of the winners for delivery and records only, we will not be retaining or using the contact details of participants. These conditions may be amended at a later date but any such amendment will obviously not be retrospective. In participating in any of our give-aways, you are accepting the conditions in this paragraph.
